Something I’ve noticed all season on The Real World D.C. is that Ashley crimps her hair. Have you guys noticed that? (Er, does anyone else actually watch The Real World anymore?) I totally ignoring what Ashley says, which is usually annoying complaining anyway, and instead just think about her hair. Why does she crimp it SO MUCH? She has really pretty, smooth hair. The crimping is kind of cool, but she should stick to just crimping a very few sections of the underneath part, so the textured bits stick out like a peekaboo effect. When I googled her name, the first pic that came up was of Ashley with crimped hair. She loooooves her crimper. (Sidenote: What if Ty threw Ashley’s crimper off the balcony? Do you think he’s get kicked out then?)
Marion Cotillard is getting down with the crimping iron too. At the 35th Cesar Film Awards in Paris over the weekend, Marion updated her French twist with crimped locks.
The all-over crimped look is a little too totally ’80s for me, but I do like a few pieces of textured hair. Or maybe a crimped ponytail with the crown smooth. (Or the reverse like Portia de Rossi.) What do you guys think of the revamped crimped look? Yay or nay?
P.S. How weird that this post features both Ashley from The Real World and Marion Cotillard?
