Must Have: Buxom Lash Mascara

I have tried like a million mascaras in my days, and I’m super picky. I have decently long eyelashes, but they are straight and not incredibly thick, so I’m always looking for a mascara that holds curl and adds a bit of thickness. An impossible mission? I love waterproof mascaras because they really hold curl, but they dry out your eyelashes, so they’re not good for everyday use. So I have never really found a mascara I love, until now. For realz. I’m in love with Buxom Lash!

I got Buxom Lash in Blue Noir, which looks pretty blue-blue on the wand, but goes on glossy dark blue-black. It gives your lashes that “fake lash-effect” and does a great job of separating lashes while adding volume and holding curl. It doesn’t dry too quickly, which allows you to add a a second coat without ending up with the dreaded spider lashes. But don’t add too much because it is a thick formula. You don’t need too much to get the job done!

I love Buxom Lash’s brush–it has specially molded bristles designed to grip each lash and a unique hourglass-shape with alternating long and short bristles to evenly deliver the right amount of mascara.

Buxom Lash comes in Blue Noir or Blackest Black. I am definitely going to try Blackest Black next time even though I do like the effect of Blue Noir. The only tiny complaint I have is that when I wear this mascara when I am running, a little bit of the blue tone smudges under my eyes. It’s a minor inconvenience for an overall rad mascara. The colors come from natural mineral colorants, including Iron Oxides and Mica. It’s also infused with mineral supplements, Rhodochrosite and Hematite to boost the health of your lashes, plus antioxidant Vitamin E and Sodium Hyaluronate to protect lashes. Buxom Lash is perfectly safe for contact lens wearers and parben-free. It washes off easily with a gentle cleanser. Price: $18.00! Which is great since I have no joke spent more than $40.00 on mascara. Stop looking at me like that. This is available exclusively at Sephora.
