Kristin Chenoweth and Michelle Trachtenberg helped put together Beauty.com baskets for CEW’s Cancer & Careers breast cancer initiative. Each of the boxes they helped to assemble is being sent to cancer survivors, which hit home for Kristin, since her mom is a breast cancer survivor.
You can help join the fight too, while stock up on your favorite beauty brands! Up until October 18th, if you click on www.beauty.com/cancerandcareers, 10% of all purchases made on Beauty.com will be donated to CEW’s Cancer and Careers.
Happy shopping! 😉
love kristin, still mourning pushing daisies.
Kat, I never saw that show! I heard it was good though. She’s seriously too cute.
i know, no one did 🙁
hey! but you can catch it online….. high quirk quotient, a visual aesthetic masterpiece (the set design is so intricate and artful, and the wardrobe is yummy), colorful and creative, charming cast of characters. The sweetness is tempered by dark humor, and i def have a crush on main characters ned AND chuck (chuck’s a girl, they style her so well), and the kooky aunts lily and vivienne, and olive and emerson.. they’re all adoration-worthy. aaand, there are some fun camios like paul reubens (pee wee herman) and molly shannon, who looks pretty good as a blonde in this instance (with a reference to hitchcock’s “the birds”).
it’s a little bit edward scissor hands, mixed with amelie. and the main plotline is so unique, which is rare in an era of remakes and spinoffs. the dialogue is written with quirky twists and alliterations which might turn some people off, but i found it clever and charming for the most part.
this show is a close second to arrested development for me. why do all my favs get cancelled??
Kat, I hate when that happens… like when your favorite makeup/skin care product is discontinued. 🙁
btw kristin had THE WORST extensions in the first episode.. really tragic. maybe for another acting job? they seemed to be working on a new ‘do for her through the next couple episodes, settling on a cute bob.
