Stila Crush

I’ve been crushing on Stila makeup since way back in high school. Stila was always so fresh and unique, and they still are today. I can’t pass by a Stila makeup counter without stopping to check out the new products and colors.

One thing I’ve always loved is Stila’s ability to create gorgeous multitasking products. Check out my reviews of three of my all-time favorite Stila products that aren’t afraid to work overtime.

stila_6511This season’s new Mango Crush Lip and Cheek Stain is a true stand out. It’s infused with naturally staining mango extracts that react to your personal pH levels to create your perfect shade. It can be used as a sheer blush or a lip tint, and is packaged in Stila’s classic, clickable pen.

I love this product. It’s great when I haven’t done my makeup yet, and just want a little something with color to toss in my purse. It leaves a gorgeous wash of peachy color on my lips and cheeks and is extremely easy to build and blend. It also smells amazing–like fresh mango!

Mango Crush Lip and Cheek Stain is infused with real mango extract and contains phyto-nutrients and antioxidants that protect and nourish your skin and leave them with a sheer, fresh, and radiant glow.  Price $24.00

Stila’s Convertible Eye Color is perfect for those of us who struggle with applying precise eyeliner. (Me.) It provides stunning color and is super easy to use.

The liner is on one end and it glides on smoothly without tugging at your eye. At the other end is a convenient smudging tool. All you do is twist the middle and you have the coordinating eye shadow. It’s so easy!

To use this, I just line my upper lids and then lightly smudge with the eyeshadow to achieve a slightly smokey affect. It’s perfect for someone like me, because I can’t be bothered with complicated, multi-step eye makeup routines. And this liner looks better when it’s applied quickly and smudged. I love it when makeup is simple.

I have Convertible Eye Color in Teak, which is a dark brown, but it also comes in many other colors ranging from green, blue and pink to more neutral shades.  Price $22.00

Stila’s Convertible Color has been a major hit in the makeup world for years. InStyle‘s Best Beauty Buys named Convertible Color a top blush in 2007 and 2008.

This versatile product brightens up cheeks and lips with creamy, translucent color. The shades might look a little daunting in the pan, but they are really perfect on. A little dab onto the apple of your cheeks gives you a glowy pop of color, like you just ran a marathon, played in the snow, or had the world’s best make-out session.

Convertible Color’s compact is great too. I love products with a nice little mirror–perfect for stashing in your purse.

I have this in Petunia and the color is a lovely peachy pink. I’ve checked out the other shades, and they are pretty spectacular too.  Price $25.00
