It's On

There’s this really stupid new show on MTV called It’s On with Alexa Chung. Have you seen it? I have no idea who Alexa Chung is (an ex-model?) but the show is painfully awkward. Her interviews are awful. It’s like she’s trying really hard to fit the format, but would rather be off having a drink and a smoke somewhere and certainly not hosting an MTV show targeted at tweens. Not that I can blame her. I’ve only caught bits and pieces of the show while at the gym, but once she was coming up with random things for the audience to search on YouTube, like “pirate-monkey” or … god. This is so stupid I can’t even continue.

Today she was making fun of Lauren Conrad’s new book L.A. Candy. Apparently it’s been on the New York Times Best Seller List for two weeks. Which, um. Really, people? But then Alexa did this whole unfunny bit about how she’s releasing a book too and brought out a copy, which was only a cover and two pages. I’m making it sound better than it was.

Anyway. Let’s focus on her hair color instead because I kind of love it. She’s got a bit of that two-tone thing going on that I discussed in regards to Cameron Diaz. Even though I wasn’t totally in love with it then, I’ve fallen… Hard.

It might require some serious work for me to achieve this, however, since the lighter part of my hair is currently at my roots, and for this look you need the reverse. And I’m not looking to cut a lot off either, which would probably help with the color conundrum. While I do love the chin length on Alexa, that it doesn’t suit my face shape, so think I’ve made up my mind to leave it long for a while.

Hmmm… Decisions, decisions.
