I’ve always wanted a Mason Pearson brush. There is just something so old school awesome about them. But… They’re kind of expensive, and I figured, well, it’s just a brush, right?
Just a brush that originated in 1885 (!) and are still made by hand today. The cushioned brush conforms to the contours of the scalp, to accomplish the 3 primary purposes of hair brushing: 1) to stimulate circulation to the hair follicles, 2) to exfoliate the scalp and remove debris in the hair, and, most importantly, 3) to distribute natural oils throughout. The cushion allows the bristles to reach all parts of the scalp and every hair without irritating the skin.
I totally want one. And supposedly they last a lifetime, so maybe they’re worth the investment?
If you have one, are they worth it?
